CD REVIEW - The Lauren Wolf Band

Capturing the theatrical and kick-ass nature of what is now considered classic rock and roll is a difficult thing to do in today's day and age. However, every once and a while a band will come along and completely embody the heart and soul of that classic rock sound. One such band is The Lauren Wolf Band, and with the release of their album "Rise Up", they are set to showcase both classic rock and modern rock, blues, soul, and retro rock and roll. Released through Chicago indie label CAU Dog Records, "Rise Up" is a fantastic blend of rock, blues, pop, soul, swamp, industrial and even Latin music.
