Described as KISS meets GWAR, legendary band Lordi is getting set to release a brand new album, titled "Scare Force One". Not so much a narrative driven album as it is a unified vision with a red string connecting each song, this album showcases the bands unique and original tone and dramatic and theatrical music stylings.
Having become staples in the "shock rock" community for over twenty years, Lordi is best known for using horror themed elements in their appearance and stage shows, with lead singer Mr. Lordi and the rest of the band sporting monster masks and garb, as well as including pyrotechnics and horror themed music. With songs on their latest album including "House of Ghosts", "Cadaver Lover", and the hit new single "Nailed By The Hammer of Frankenstein", it is easy to see how much the horror genre has become a staple of the band.
Combining hard rock and metal music, Lordi is a phenomenal act, creating audio and visual artwork with their terrifying yet beautiful music, bad-ass guitar riffs, gritty vocals, heart-pumping drums and soul-searing bass rhythms.
