A singer-songwriter approach much like John Legend with a bluesy, classic rock vibe like Aerosmith, Tom Petty and Rush. That's how we would describe singer/songwriter Andy Evans and his album Miracle. Due out on January 26th, 2016, this album beautifully combines the soul of Southern Rock and Classic Rock, the tone of jazz/blues rock, and the theatricality and lyrical prowess of an 80's rock ballad or songwriter such as Elton John. Growing up in Charlottesville, VA, and having a deep-seeded respect and love for music's almost magical ability to set the mood and shape a person's perspective on life, Andy Evans has created a 9-track album that reflects themes of love, loss, passion, joy, and hope. Using his own life experiences as a Navy officer stationed in Texas, Andy has almost captured a theatrical, old-west vibe in his music, seeming to tell a story with each song he sings. This, coupled with his mastery of bass guitar and with some help with incredibly talented, in-house talent in Texas, Miracle is an ode to the raw power of emotional storytelling through music. Songs such as "Lesson Learned," "I Wish She Was Mine" and the title track, "Miracle," all form pieces of a grand puzzle to the genius that is Andy Evans. This album is living proof of the command he has over his craft, and fans of all forms of rock, (whether it be Southern Rock, Blues Rock, or Classic Rock), will enjoy the hell out of this album. You can hear his hit single "Miracle" now on Soundcloud, and be on the lookout of Andy Evans' Miracle album this coming January 2016!
