Nemo James' 'The Minstrel' Is A Testament To This Artist's Eclectic Style

Sometimes an artist can be so poetic and unique, that they defy genre labeling. That is the case for artist Nemo James and his album of acoustic folk songs, simply titled The Minstrel. Nemo James has been a freelance guitarist both in the studio and on tours for such artists as Cliff Richard and Tom Jones, delving into multiple genres such as jazz, blues, rock, country, folk and more. His years of working in the industry have helped him shape this unique music that can't be named. While being described as country/folk, one gets more of a sense of a blues-infused folk singer, emotion and velvety tones reverberating through each song as he blends his style into simply beautiful music. Songs such as "The Poet", "Dreamer on the Run" and "In the Garden" do a wonderful job of highlighting the slowed-down tempo of the smooth performances. Overall, The Minstrel is a fun, etheral experience that is both family friendly and deeply emotional. While this album won't neccesarily appeal to the Top 40 crowd, that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Croation singer has found a way to connect with a key demographic that not everyone gets, and does a masterful job of singing with passion and heart in a style he clearly loves. When an artist feels that deeply for their music, it makes the music itself much more enjoyable, so make sure you give Nemo James' album, The Minstrel, a listen today and pick up your copies now!
